ForViva group member Liberty has completed the transfer of staff and contracts at Warmer Energy Services as part of an administration process.

National property services business Liberty, which provides services to more than 200,000 homes across England and Wales, has transferred all 143 jobs from Liverpool-based firm.

Warmer, which services 50,000 homes across the North West, was preparing for administration.

The deal will secure the jobs of Warmer staff as well as work within the supply chain and for key subcontractors.

Debbie Attwood, Group Director of People at ForViva said the deal would allow the Group to have an even bigger impact on communities.

“This deal is great news for Warmer staff and clients and great news for Liberty. It will provide much needed job security for staff transferring to Liberty.

Liberty, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, provides services in the gas, repairs and maintenance, renewable energy, mechanical and electrical engineering, and construction sectors.

The business currently employs around 1,000 staff, has 11 UK branches and handles more than 2,800 customer calls each day.
