A group of 17 staff at ForViva have raised over £2,700 to help tackle and prevent homelessness, after taking on the challenge of sleeping rough on Friday 9th November for the Manchester Sleepout.
The Manchester Sleepout aims to highlight just some of the hardships that homeless people have to face every night. It is organised by The Booth Centre, the Manchester-based charity which aims to bring about positive change to the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and help them plan for and realise a better future.
Taking part in this year’s Manchester Sleepout is just part of ForViva’s range of initiatives to tackle and prevent homelessness.
The total raised will go towards supporting The Booth Centre to continue to provide vital support services.
