Maintaining our excellent rating from the Homes and Communities Agency
ForViva has once again retained its excellent rating from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
The HCA, which regulates social housing providers across England, has given ForViva the best ratings possible following an in-depth assessment of the organisation.
The HCA introduced in-depth assessments in 2015. These are designed to assess housing associations businesses to ensure they are complying with the necessary economic standards.
Following audits of the Group’s risk profiles, financial capabilities and governance arrangements, the HCA awarded ForViva the highest possible ratings – V1 for viability and G1 for governance.
ForViva has successfully maintained this excellent rating through resilient governance, delivering efficient cost-effective services and maximising commercial opportunities.
The news follows a successful borrowing and refinancing deal which made use of the organisation’s group structure to generate significant additional financial capacity.
The deal has put in place a flexible funding solution which will be used to drive forward the Group’s continued growth and diversification.
Tim Doyle, Chief Executive at ForViva, said: “This is fantastic news and demonstrates that we are an excellent organisation with great, competent people and that our commercial activities are increasing our long-term viability. This means we can continue to invest more in communities and high-quality homes - and ultimately improve lives.”
